Our steel band has been together for about 6 years. We have added band members over the years starting with less than 10 people, and have evolved to more than 25 members. We have all different people, some students in college, some retired, most working, just normal people coming together to have fun and play their steel drums. We are primarily based in Annapolis, MD and enjoy going out and playing, some of our big events, are the Annapolis Volvo Race in 2006. Annapolis Tug of War. We have also played a number of private parties. We have associated with Mike Miller, a music teacher at Old Mill High School, he has been our director since the beginning. His band The Gecko's have been around for a while, you probably have seen them in the Ram's Head Tavern. He has started a steel band program in Old Mill, and has been the best teacher that we could ever have.
